We also help people leave a lasting legacy. When you leave your home to Karmic Legacies, we preserve it just the way you left it. We ensure your legacy lives on and ensure it goes towards helping people better their lives. If you have pets or livestock at home and wonder what will happen with them after you are gone, we can ensure they continue to live at home for the remainder of their lives. Make My Home A Legacy

You've spent a lifetime developing yourself and working hard to build something in this world. Now what?

Our time here on this earth varies from person to person but one thing that remains certain is our time here is limited. How do you want to be remembered? How can you ensure people understand who you were as a person, and what you did to make this world a better place?

You can gather a lot about someone when you meet them. You can gather more about them when you are invited into their home.

We preserve your legacy in an inviting and intimate way.

We preserve your home and property with your personal touches that make it unique to you. Your home will be a unique getaway for people visiting the town. People who appreciate staying in a true home vs a cookie-cutter hotel. Upon arrival, guests will be introduced to you and your property via a tastefully made plaque. Here they will learn about who you were as a person, and the special features of your home and landscape that make it unique to you. A monument preserving your legacy and inviting visitors to get a feel of what it was like living in your little corner of the earth.

How your home contribution will enhance people's lives:

When you leave your home to Karmic Legacies, you're enhancing people's lives. More than just the people who have the honor of staying in your home for the weekend and enjoying all the pleasures it has to offer. We select good-natured people who need a break in life. We then assign these people to be Stewards of your legacy.

Our Stewards have the opportunity to live rent and mortgage-free while they are caring for your legacy. In this way, you are giving good-natured people a chance to rebuild themselves financially. Something nearly all of us need at some point in our lives. Stewards will be selected for a period of a year in most cases, with the intent of rotating to a new Steward to give more people this opportunity. Everyone's situation is different. Some stewards may only need a few months. Some may need a few years. Each person's case will be reviewed.

All homes require ongoing maintenance and repairs. We plan for this as best we can to keep your legacy in the state we received it in or better (without changing its character). Whenever maintenance or repairs are needed beyond the capabilities of the Steward selected, we do our best to select the best tradespeople. By best, we mean companies that are owned and run by other good-natured people, who are also qualified by skill and trade. We believe in supporting businesses that hold high importance on the quality of people they hire, quality in skill, and personality. We do our best to pay it forward, by hiring the good people of the world and putting the money back into the hands of people who deserve it.

In selecting good-natured people in everything we do, we pay the good Karma forward. When good-natured people receive blessings in life, they nearly always pass it on. Our world needs to celebrate and care for the goodness in people and nurture that in our communities.

How Can I Make My Home A Legacy?

To ensure your home is in the care of Karmic Legacies after you leave this place, simply leave your property to us in your Will.

To ensure your wishes are carried out as you intend them, we highly recommend you see a doctor prior to having a Will made. You will want it on record that you are of sound mind and health and have the capacity to make these decisions. You should include a copy of this with your Will.

Whether you leave anything to Karmic Legacies or not, this is highly recommended. It's one of the few ways to ensure your final wishes aren't contested in court after you're gone and that your wishes are indeed carried out as you intended them to be.

Become A Steward

Stewards at Karmic Legacies are responsible for cleaning and preserving our clients' home and property.

This position is best suited for someone who only works part-time or works from home and has the time and freedom to take their responsibilities with Karmic Legacies seriously. This position is to give good-natured people a break in life to rebuild themselves financially by saving money on not having to pay rent.

If you apply for this position, be prepared to honestly speak about your financial situation and how you plan to improve it. This position is not a permanent one. Each person's situation is different and the time given to you will be gauged by how much time is realistically needed to rebuild yourself and set you up for success moving forward.

While we don't want to send you off prematurely, we do want to ensure others have the same opportunity at a break in life to rebuild themselves. To remain a steward with Karmic Legacies, you must take your responsibilities seriously and that includes forward movement in rebuilding yourself. Both the care of our client's home and your progress in rebuilding yourself will be reviewed to ensure you still qualify for this position. If either of these starts to slide in your dedication, you will be relieved of this position and a new steward will be selected to take your place.
